Translation: Amnesty International is ok with Russia until Russia is the subject, then Amnesty is CIA. @Verkkomeedio recently noted the efforts of Markus Mälkönen. Mälkönen has been dutifully pushing the Kremlin version of reality via Facebook, which has required the occasional mental gymnastics as the Kremlin first embraces Amnesty International, then condemns AI when the latter criticizes Russia's carpet bombing of civilian areas in Syria. What I notice is that Mälkönen is pushing content almost exclusively in English (as opposed to targeting a Finnish audience). This puts him in the ranks of Western propagators of Kremlin disinfo. Also, he is a friend of Janus Putkonen.

New Years Eve in Red Square in Glory Days of Soviet Russia. Was magic. Was postcards. I weep to remember. pic.twitter.com/RKcQZC09k2
